DRI 2022 #1 – Tranquilitas Adventure Farm

Important announcement regarding this race event

It is with much regret that I have to make this decision but I feel it is the right thing to do – the upcoming DRI Landslide at Tranquilitas will have to be cancelled for now.

There are some critical logistics components that need to be in place in order for things to run smoothly. You all come to a DRI with high expectations and I always try to meet or exceed those expectations. If I’m not 100% sure I can do that, then I need to go back to the drawing board and solve the issues first.

Options for event cancellation for those who have already pre-entered:

  • Full refund
  • Carry the event entry over to “A Free State Enduro” at the Holey Trails in August (12th, 13th, 14th) 2022

Please contact me to discuss a refund of your entry or possible rollover to a future event.

All the other advertised events will go ahead as scheduled, so don’t despair.

General race information

Race entry fee includes:

  • Trail fees (3 days, all trails)
  • Shuttle fees (3 days)
  • Meal after the race on Sunday
  • Fox Racing DRI event shirt
  • Rocky Drift venue entry* (race finish area)
  • Personalized DRI race number board
  • Plus: a record amount of prize money up for grabs!

Total race package value of more than R2,000

* Spectators must pay the entrance fee if they want to gain entrance Rocky Drift, location of the race finish.

Race Details

  • A *new* 11km+ downhill track for the race
  • Food and beverages (with and without a kick!) on site all weekend at the Tranquilitas DRI race village
  • Mechanic with essential spares available

Pre-race shuttle weekends at Tranquilitas

Two DRI shuttle weekends will be happening prior to race weekend. More info to follow.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Tranquilitas Adventure Farm (race / race village location) must be booked directly via the Tranquilitas facilities.

In addition to the standard accommodation and camping options at Tranquilitas Adventure Farm, Tranquilitas will be setting up a limited number of extra tents with beds. Inquire directly to Tranquilitas about this if you are interested.
